Sky News Australia spoke to farmer, Cheryl O’Donnell, who details what life is like adjacent to wind turbine farms. O’Donnell said it’s like “living in a nightmare”.
To be quite honest … it’s almost like you’re living in a nightmare… Everybody is suffering the same conditions, the same health effects are happening to people right across this area. But not only here — right across Australia, right across the world. This is happening continuously to everyone.

O’Donnell then relays another aspect of the nightmare — politicians who either don’t care, or keep passing the buck.
“I’ve written to virtually every politician in Australia, both federal and state, in regards to this matter. Because as residents, we see that there is an issue. While no one’s actually there saying these things are 100% safe… they keep passing it on to the next office.”
O’Donnell also addresses the damage to roads and how no level of government is willing to address safety concerns. “All these things haven’t been accounted for, and no one’s hearing anything back from government except to say… ‘It’s essential that these developments go ahead.’ But prove it to us that they’re safe. Not one person has come back when I’ve asked to guarantee 100% safety on these developments.”
